Early this spring I walked down to the San Clemente State Beach in Southern California from our family camp site hoping to capture beautiful scenery in a photo, and the image that unfolded before my eyes refused to disappoint. The dark looming storm to the west threatened the brisk cool air packed coastline, and from the east the awakened sun struck forth with glorious streams of light vaporizing the encroaching darkness. With seemingly endless attempts the Pacific Ocean gnawed at the now golden beach sand with her ancient waves of white teeth. There I stood in awe peering into the distance, where beach homes perched on the sand smothered hills dissappeared into the mist.
